Minister of Public Works Fayez Rasamny held a coordination meeting at his office with a delegation from the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), headed by engineer Mohammad Qabbani. 

Discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between the two entities on shared priorities.

Minister Rasamny emphasized the importance of sustained coordination between the Ministry and the CDR to ensure effective implementation and equitable distribution of infrastructure projects across Lebanese regions. 

The Minister stressed the need to align efforts with the country’s sustainable development goals and transportation infrastructure needs.

Separately, Minister Rasamny welcomed MP Ziad Hawat, accompanied by Jbeil Mayor Dr. Joseph Chami. The meeting addressed development-related issues concerning Jbeil  city. 

The Minister also met with MP Said Asmar, member of the Strong Republic bloc, for discussions focused on development and service-related needs in Jezzine region.

Minister Rasamny reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to working closely with relevant stakeholders to meet local development needs, highlighting the importance of prioritizing and expediting projects within available resources and national frameworks.
