MP Adib Abdel Massih urged Hezbollah leadership and President Nabih Berri to maintain control over the streets, emphasizing the need to avoid internal strife. He affirmed, "We stand behind the army."

In an interview with MTV, Abdel Massih noted that Lebanon has begun to pay the price for the historic decision that was made, with the Lebanese Army bearing the burden due to the circumstances. He stressed that the road ahead is difficult, and called on all Lebanese to support the army.

He also pointed out that Israel has not provided any guarantees to the Americans, the French, or any other party. “Today, we must work toward a unified authority and a single decision, not a fragmented sovereignty,” he said.
