Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, received at his Yarzeh office, Lebanon's designated Ambassador to Italy, Carla Jazzar. Discussions covered the general situation in Lebanon and the region.

General Haykal also received the US Military Attaché in Lebanon, Colonel Joe Becker, who came on a farewell visit.

Among Yarzeh's visitors for today had been the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) Head of Office for Jordan and Lebanon, Alaa Demnati, and an accompanying delegation. The discussions reportedly focused on avenues of cooperation between the Centre and the Lebanese army.
