Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced this evening that Israel is prepared to agree to an agreement, but under specific and strict conditions.

The statement issued by Netanyahu's office said: "Israel will agree to an agreement provided that all prisoners are released simultaneously, and in accordance with our conditions for ending the war, which include the disarmament of Hamas, the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, and Israeli control of its surroundings, and the establishment of a government not affiliated with Hamas or the Palestinian Authority that lives in peace with Israel."
