Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj met with François Sporrer, Head of the Economic Department at the French Embassy in Beirut, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Lebanon and France in the telecommunications sector.

Talks focused in particular on potential collaboration with Eutelsat (OneWeb), the global satellite communications company. The discussions explored opportunities this partnership could offer, especially in expanding broadband services and modernizing connectivity infrastructure, steps seen as vital to enhancing Lebanon’s position in the digital economy.
