Minister of Economy Amer Bisat held a press conference after an extensive meeting with generator owners and representatives from various ministries. He emphasized that the generator issue is a critical matter for all Lebanese, impacting not only the economy but also environmental, security, and health aspects.

Moreover, Bisat revealed the launch of a joint initiative with concerned ministries to enforce regulations, including mandatory adherence to pricing and installation of meters and filters. He warned that non-compliance will result in legal actions.

A 45-day deadline was given for adherence, aiming to restore public trust in state institutions.
