Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh met at his office in the National Library-Sanayeh with MP Ahmad Al-Khair, heading a delegation from the town of Al-Minieh-Dinniyeh, to thank the minister for his interest and follow-up on all matters related to the cultural sector in all Lebanese regions.
The meeting did not fail to address developments on the local scene, according to what MP Al-Khair announced after the meeting. He said, "We thanked Minister Salameh for his efforts to activate the cultural sector, and it was an opportunity to invite him to participate in a cultural festival organized by the town of Al-Minieh."
He added, "We also discussed developments on the local scene, particularly those related to the Cabinet session next Friday and the importance of maintaining the existing momentum and movement by extending state authority over all its territories and maintaining arms monopoly. This has necessitated Arab and international support, which is beginning to become clear to public opinion at all levels in Lebanon. He emphasized that the decision to extend state authority and arms monopoly is a distinctly Lebanese decision."
