Brad Cooper travelled to Israel for the first time this week as commander of the US military’s Central Command (CENTCOM).
Posting on X, CENTCOM said Cooper met the Israeli military’s chief of staff, with the pair discussing regional security and the “strong US-Israel military alliance”.
“The United States maintains an ironclad commitment to Israel’s security,” Cooper said. “We are mutually dedicated to promoting regional security and stability.”
