The General Directorate of General Security issued the following statement:
As part of monitoring the situation of foreign violators and pursuing prostitution networks across Lebanon, the General Directorate of General Security raided a hotel in the Mount Lebanon area on 6/9/2025, where eleven individuals were arrested — seven of Congolese, Kenyan, Bangladeshi, and Filipino nationalities, and four Lebanese nationals which are the hotel owners, reception manager, and security guard (R.N., S.N., J.A., W.A.). They were charged with prostitution, violating residency, and labor regulations. Weapons were seized during the operation.
Legal measures were taken against the detainees, and the hotel was shut down and sealed with red wax by order of the competent judiciary.
