President Joseph Aoun arrived at Hamad International Airport in Doha to lead Lebanon’s delegation to the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, convened to discuss the Israeli aggression against Qatar.
He was welcomed by Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani, Minister of Culture Abdul Rahman bin Hamad, and several Qatari officials, as well as Lebanon’s Foreign Minister and Minister of Expatriates Yusuf Raji, Ambassador Farah Berri to Qatar, and Lebanon’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Ali Halabi.
After a brief stop at the VIP lounge, President Aoun and his accompanying delegation moved to the summit venue at the Sheraton Hotel.
The official delegation accompanying President Aoun includes Minister Rajji, the President’s Special Adviser Brig. Gen. André Rahal, Ambassador Berri, Ambassador Halabi, the Director General of Protocol and Public Relations at the Presidency Dr. Nabil Chedid, and the Presidency’s Media Director Rafik Chelala.
