Chouf District witnessed a landmark Agricultural Day led by Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, underscoring a renewed national vision for sustainable rural development.

Minister Hani began his visit with municipal leaders and the Green Plan Committee to explore water infrastructure projects. A central gathering in Moukhtara, titled "Agricultural Day in Upper Chouf", brought together local stakeholders, farmers, cooperatives, and civil society actors.

Hani emphasized agriculture as a national priority linked to food and economic security, announcing mobile registration units and new irrigation initiatives. The event concluded with a roadmap of strategic recommendations and tangible support for small-scale farmers.
