President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received MP Mohammad Sleiman at Baabda Palace. Following the meeting, Sleiman expressed support for the President’s positions and praised his “wisdom in addressing national issues in the interest of Lebanon.”

He thanked Aoun for consistently following up on Akkar’s demands, particularly the establishment of a military hospital, the opening of a Lebanese University branch, and the activation of Renee Moawad Airport in Qlayaat.

Sleiman also requested the reopening of official border crossings between Lebanon and Syria to ensure better control and prevent violations.
