Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajjar met with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari at the ministry, where discussions touched on general developments and bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Bukhari commended the efforts exerted by the Lebanese Ministry of Interior in combating drug smuggling, particularly attempts targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

For his part, Minister Hajjar underscored that the fight against narcotics remains a national priority, aimed at safeguarding both Lebanese and Arab societies. He further highlighted the ongoing cooperation between Lebanese security agencies and their Saudi counterparts in addressing this critical issue.
