The Army: Continued Israeli Violations Hinder Our Deployment in the South and Implementation of Our Plan
The following statement was issued by the Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation:

The Israeli enemy continues its violations, which have exceeded 4,500 since the implementation of the cessation-of-hostilities agreement, following its last aggression against Lebanon in 2024.

In this context, the Israeli enemy continues its attacks on civilians, most recently targeting several southern villages today, as well as civilians in various populated areas, resulting in deaths and injuries.

This coincides with its ongoing violations of Lebanese sovereignty by land, sea, and air, and its continuous crimes against residents of border villages, including the use of incendiary bombs and the demolition of homes.

These attacks and violations hinder the army’s deployment in the south, and their continuation will obstruct the implementation of its plan, starting from the area south of the Litani River.

As part of ongoing engineering survey operations in the southern regions, a specialized military unit discovered a disguised spy device placed by the Israeli enemy in the Labouna–Tyre area and dismantled it. The Lebanese Army continues to monitor these violations in coordination with the Cessation-of-Hostilities Observation Committee and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
