Israeli army: We attacked weapons depots of the Radwan Force in Lebanon
The Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X:

“The Israel Defense Forces struck several weapons depots belonging to the Radwan Force of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah continues its attempts to rebuild terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, particularly those belonging to the Radwan Force unit, with the aim of targeting the State of Israel.

The Radwan unit of Hezbollah planned and pushed, over the years, what is called the Galilee Occupation Plan. Its leaders were eliminated last September in Beirut during Operation Northern Arrows, and since then, the unit has been trying to rebuild its capabilities. The IDF has been working over the past two years against the unit’s attempts to restore its capabilities.

Before the strike, measures were taken to minimize the possibility of civilian casualties, including issuing warnings, using precision munitions, aerial reconnaissance, and other intelligence information.

The targeted depots were planted in the heart of civilian populations, providing further evidence of Hezbollah using civilians as human shields for its activities within civilian facilities.

The presence of the targeted combat means constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, putting local residents at risk. The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel.”
