The Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

“On September 21, 2025, based on information about a gang involved in arms trafficking, an army unit, supported by an intelligence directorate patrol, raided the homes of citizens (A.A.), (N.J.), (M.Y.), and (R.K.) in the Majdel Aanjar – Zahle area. The suspects were arrested, and a large quantity of light and medium weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment was seized.

The confiscated items were handed over to the authorities, and investigations into the detainees have begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.”
