Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received at the Grand Serail, MP Faisal Karami, accompanied by Othman Majzoub and Alaa Jleilati.
After the meeting, Karami said that "the discussion touched on all political developments," affirming his support for Premier Salam and the measures taken by his government in the various fields.
Karami also noted that "the discussion touched on developmental issues and demands related to the city of Tripoli and North Lebanon."
Separately, Premier Salam received a delegation from the Mina City Municipal Council, headed by Abdallah Kabbara, who said that the delegation presented the conditions and demands of Mina City, particularly developmental and services affairs related to the city, including the rehabilitation of its seafront."
Salam later met with an economic delegation, led by Khaled Zidan, who said that "the meeting with Premier Salam addressed the overall economic situation.”
The discussion also covered ways to help in the country’s economic recovery.
Salam also met with the Lebanese Ambassador-designate to Sweden, Osama Khashab.
