President Joseph Aoun received a delegation from the American Task Force for Lebanon.

Aoun told the delegation: “My talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio were positive. I requested US assistance to stop the Israeli attacks and to ensure withdrawal from the occupied territories in the south, so that the Lebanese army can deploy up to the international borders and implement Resolution 1701. I sensed responsiveness regarding the continued support of the army deployed across Lebanon to extend the state’s sovereignty over its territory.”
