Former Lebanese prime ministers Najib Mikati, Fouad Siniora, and Tammam Salam convened to discuss recent developments, denouncing Israel’s continued attacks on southern Lebanon in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. They demanded an end to Israel’s aggression, its withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories, and highlighted Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza and the West Bank.

The former premiers endorsed U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and prisoner exchanges, stressing its relevance to Lebanon’s stability. Reaffirming cabinet decisions to restrict arms to state institutions, they urged full adherence to the constitution and Taif Agreement. 

The former PMs concluded by emphasizing unity, governance, and urgent reforms to pave the way for reconstruction, attract investments, and secure greater international support.
