President of the Republic Joseph Aoun welcomed Sri Lankan Ambassador Kapila Susantha Jayaweera at Baabda Palace on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon, thanking him for his efforts in advancing bilateral relations between the two countries.

The President also met with Minister of Administrative Development Fadi Makki, who briefed him on the progress of the “Reinventing Government 2030” project. Makki outlined key insights and priorities raised by stakeholders during field consultations across various regions, emphasizing the initiative’s role in restructuring state institutions and enhancing governance efficiency.
