In his office at the National Library - Sanayeh, Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh discussed with the Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hilde Haralstad, the situation and developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the cultural sector.

The ambassador explained after the meeting: "I was honored to meet the Minister of Culture. We had a good discussion and a fruitful conversation about the developments in the country and the cultural projects launched by Minister Salameh. The meeting also addressed cooperation between our two countries and how Norway can provide further support in the next phase."

She added: "Norway already supports several cultural projects in Lebanon, in the music sector and other fields, but we discussed what we can do more of in the future. This is part of the ongoing dialogue between us now, and we would like to offer more, but we can discuss that later."
