Former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt stated that his visit to the President at Baabda Palace was friendly, saying: “The atmosphere is reassuring despite the ill-considered campaigns of doubt.”

He added: “The Lebanese Army is carrying out tremendous work in the South.”
