Minister of Energy and Water Joe Saddi met with FAO Representative in Lebanon Nora Ourabah Haddad and Technical Coordinator for Irrigation and Water Maya Mhanna to discuss the organization’s ongoing initiatives and joint projects with the ministry across Lebanon.

Saddi also received German Ambassador Kurt Georg Stöckl-Stillfried, Director of German Cooperation in Lebanon Jutta Simon, and GIZ Director General Ingrid Gabriela Hoven, accompanied by GIZ Lebanon Director Matthias Wagner and other officials. 

Discussions focused on Lebanon’s water sector, with emphasis on the role of GIZ in supporting water management and infrastructure projects in coordination with the ministry.
