Amal celebrates record-breaking LAU Beirut results
The Amal Movement’s Central Youth and Sports Office announced that all seven of its candidates won seats in the student elections at the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut.

In a statement, the office said the results reflect students’ continued faith in the movement’s vision and their commitment to unity in campus life, a principle inspired by Imam Musa al-Sadr, who saw students as central to building the nation’s future.

The statement added that the win underscores students’ support for the path of Speaker Nabih Berri, who has long championed Lebanon as a homeland for all its citizens and called for a state built on merit, justice, and the rule of institutions, free from political sectarianism.

The office also thanked students who, it said, “carry forward President Nabih Berri’s vision of a strong institutional state that meets the ambitions of all Lebanese youth, regardless of their background.”

The statement concluded with a message of hope: “With faith in God, we await the return of Imam Musa al-Sadr and his two companions.”
