Israel’s Public Broadcasting Authority reported that Israel has decided to move forward with reopening the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt and to allow the transfer of humanitarian aid into the Strip following the return of the remains of three captives.

It added that Israel has canceled measures it had planned to take against Hamas, which included cutting the number of aid trucks entering the Strip by half.

According to the broadcaster, 600 aid trucks are expected to enter Gaza as the Rafah crossing reopens today.
