Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa has arrived in Russia for an official visit during which he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on bilateral relations and regional and international developments of mutual interest.
According to the Syrian news agency SANA, the visit aims to reorganize bilateral relations between the two countries and discuss political and economic cooperation.
Earlier, the Kremlin announced that the talks between President Putin and Al-Sharaa in Moscow will focus on ways to develop Russian-Syrian relations and the situation in the Middle East.
In a Kremlin statement, it was noted, “On October 15, talks will be held between President Vladimir Putin and the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad Al-Sharaa, who will arrive in Russia on an official working visit.”
