Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, welcomed former minister Mohammad Choucair, head of “Kulna Beirut” Gathering, at Dar al-Fatwa, accompanied by a delegation from the group.
Following the meeting, Choucair said the encounter was “marked by goodwill and mutual respect,” adding that the delegation “benefited from His Eminence’s guidance and placed all its capabilities at his disposal,” while briefing him on the group’s initiatives to serve Beirut’s residents.
Choucair expressed concern over the continued Israeli aggression against Lebanon and its negative repercussions on security, the economy, and living conditions, stressing the need to strengthen national unity in the interest of all Lebanese.
