Hezbollah said that the ongoing Israeli attacks and 'escalating crimes' require the Lebanese state and all political forces to take a firm, unified national stance to strengthen Lebanon’s position in the face of these ongoing aggressions.
In a statement issued after the Israeli incursion into the southern Lebanese town of Blida, Hezbollah urged the government to “adopt a different approach from the one it has followed over the past 11 months” and to assume its responsibilities by approving a comprehensive political and diplomatic plan to halt Israeli violations and protect Lebanese citizens and their interests.
The group also praised President Joseph Aoun’s position, commending his call for the Lebanese Army to confront Israeli incursions.
Hezbollah further called for providing the army with all necessary support and resources to boost its defensive capabilities and for ensuring political backing to enable it to face what it described as “a brutal enemy.”
