The D.C. Metropolitan Police confirmed that their forces were able to arrest multiple people and disperse those violating public order.

Meanwhile, the Navy Yard neighborhood in Washington, D.C., witnessed a state of unrest after videos circulated on social media showing groups of young people taking over the streets, as National Guard forces deployed in the area.
