Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met at Ain al-Tineh with Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar, for talks focused on the latest political, security, and legislative developments.

Berri later received Rémy Rioux, Director General of the French Development Agency (AFD), accompanied by a delegation, in the presence of French Ambassador Hervé Magroand Dr. Mahmoud Berri, advisor to the Speaker. 

Discussions covered Lebanon’s current situation, regional developments, AFD’s ongoing programs, and avenues of cooperation, as well as bilateral relations between Lebanon and France.

Among Berri’s visitors was also former Minister George Kordahi.
