Tomorrow Marks the Start of Winter: Rain, Floods, and Cold
The Meteorological Department at the Civil Aviation Authority forecast that tomorrow’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a slight additional drop in temperatures and scattered showers that will become heavier by noon, accompanied by thunder and lightning. The department warned of possible flooding, especially in northern regions.

Unstable autumn weather with occasional rain continues to affect Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean until Thursday, as the country comes under the influence of a rainy low-pressure system accompanied by relatively cold air masses. This will lead to a noticeable drop in temperatures, along with thunder, lightning, and active winds, lasting through the end of the week.

Average November temperatures range between 17 and 25°C in Beirut, 14 and 23°C in Tripoli, and 8 and 20°C in Zahle.
Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Wednesday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a drop in temperatures and a chance of scattered showers in inland areas, particularly in the south. Rain may be accompanied by thunder, lightning, and active winds. Dense fog is expected to form over the mountains, reducing visibility.

Thursday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with a further slight drop in temperatures and scattered rainfall that will intensify by noon, accompanied by thunder and lightning. The formation of floods is likely, especially in northern areas.

Friday: Cloudy with continued scattered rainfall, sometimes heavy, along with a noticeable drop in temperatures, particularly inland, bringing them below seasonal averages. Rain will be accompanied by active winds and thunderclouds that may produce hail. The risk of floods and soil erosion remains high, especially in northeastern regions.

Saturday: Cloudy with continued scattered rain, especially in the evening when rainfall may intensify with possible thunder and lightning. The risk of flooding and soil erosion will persist, particularly in northern areas.
