French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot will meet with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in Paris on Wednesday to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue, as well as the fate of two French citizens still at the French embassy in Iran, the French Foreign Ministry said Monday, according to AFP.

The Foreign Ministry said, "As part of the ongoing discussions with the Iranian authorities over the past several months regarding the Iranian nuclear program, regional issues, and our bilateral files, Foreign Minister Araghchi will travel to France on Wednesday to meet with the Foreign Minister," noting that it will be "an opportunity to call on Iran to resume cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency."
