Minister of Interior Ahmad Hajjar met with newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa in a courtesy visit at the ministry.

The meeting reviewed the latest political and security developments in Lebanon and the wider region. 

Discussions also touched on the reform measures underway at the Ministry of Interior across multiple sectors, as well as ongoing preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
