Minister of Defense Michel Menassa received Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Chen Chuandong at his Yarzeh office.
During the meeting, the discussion reportedly touched on the general situation, bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop existing cooperation.
Minister Menassa thanked China for "what it provides for the benefit of Lebanon and the military institution, in particular, which contributes to strengthening the army's resilience and operational capabilities."
The Defense Minister also received Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov, with discussions touching on the general situation and the possibilities for developing cooperation between the two sides in various fields, especially military ones, in addition to discussing ways to activate some of the proposed agreements between the two countries.
