Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi received Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, at the Maronite Patriarchate in Bkerke. During the meeting, Ambassador Al Thani reaffirmed Qatar’s firm support for Lebanon “in all its causes,” with discussions touching on the latest domestic and regional developments.

Patriarch Rahi also met with the Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of Iran in Lebanon, Mohammad Reza, for talks on bilateral relations.

Additional visitors included the newly appointed President of Caritas Lebanon, Father Samir Ghawi, and the Mayor of Adma–Al Dafneh, Joseph Chahwan.
