Salameh meets with the Director of the Network of Secular French Missions
The Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh received the former French Ambassador, Christian Masset, Director of the Network of Secular French Missions, at his offices in the National Library in Sanayeh. Mr. Masset was accompanied by the mission's representative in Beirut, Ms. Andrée Daouk. The meeting focused on the mission's activities in Lebanon and ways to strengthen cooperation, as the Ambassador explained afterward.

He stated: “I was delighted to meet Mr. Salameh today. I knew him during his previous international roles and I consider him a major figure on the international stage and one of the most influential thinkers in the contemporary world.” This meeting allowed us to discuss in depth the mission of the French Secular Mission in Lebanon, the leading role of its institutions, and avenues for cooperation to foster Lebanon's prosperity and development, especially since our Lebanese experience serves as a source of inspiration for our other institutions around the world.

Ambassador Masset continued: “Our institutions in Lebanon contribute effectively to education, and this cooperation, stemming from the relationship between France and Lebanon, benefits both our peoples.”
