The legislation maintains military assistance to the Lebanese Army, but this time with a clear condition: tangible progress in dismantling Hezbollah’s military capabilities.
More importantly, the U.S. Department of Defense is required to submit a report by June 30, 2026, assessing the performance of the Lebanese Army.
