Minister of Foreign Affairs Youssef Raggi received a phone call from UK Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Falconer, during which they discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
The British minister expressed the United Kingdom’s readiness “to help Lebanon prevent Israel from carrying out its escalation threats, and to support the Lebanese Armed Forces in implementing the government’s decision to extend state authority across all its territory and ensure that weapons remain solely in the hands of its legitimate security institutions.”
