President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received at Baabda Palace, MP Tony Frangieh, who said on emerging: “I came to well-wish His Excellency the President on the holiday season, and to congratulate him on the outcomes of the visit of His Holiness the Pope and the good organization that accompanied it."

MP Frangieh also indicated that "Lebanon is currently witnessing a path towards building hope, based on political realities whose results we have begun to clearly see."

MP Frangieh also commended the excellent undertakings of the Lebanese army and the Lebanese state, “whether in terms of deployment, disarmament, or restraint at the Lebanese level, which spares the country any new tension.” Frangieh also hoped that "the international community will exert pressure on Israel to stop its attacks."
