Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny received in his office the Chairman of the Board of the Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Mohammad Aziz, accompanied by the Minister’s adviser Dr. Jalal Haidar, along with a delegation from Air Côte d’Ivoire, as part of ongoing follow-up on files related to the development of the civil aviation sector, airport infrastructure, and the sector’s role in boosting the national economy, tourism, and connectivity between resident and expatriate Lebanon.

Rasamny also met a delegation from the Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology, which briefed him on its training programs for those seeking to study and work aboard commercial vessels and yachts, as well as specialized maritime courses for port and shipping company personnel. 

The delegation outlined training pathways, skills development, and cooperation prospects aligned with labor market needs and international standards, extending an official invitation for the minister to visit the institute.

Separately, Minister Rasamny met former minister Elie Marouni, with whom he discussed a number of development and service-related issues concerning the city of Zahle.
