President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, was briefed by Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj, on achievements realized by the ministry in 2025, within a strategy based on two main pillars: implementing Law 431 and improving services provided to citizens and businesses. This was pursued through activating the performance of the ministry’s directorates and affiliated institutions, reviewing budgets, and redefining investment priorities.

Minister Hajj noted that mobile telecommunications revenues rose in 2025 to $534 million, up from $493 million in 2024, despite capital expenditure reaching $55.1 million in 2025, compared to $14.2 million the previous year. He stressed that investment funding was secured without any increase in tariffs.
