MP Wael Abou Faour of the Democratic Gathering met with Ziad Chaya, Director General of Railways and Public Transport, in the presence of the heads of the Rachaya–Mount Hermon, Rachaya–Qalaat Al-Istiqlal, and Al-Buhayra municipal unions.

The meeting resulted in an agreement to connect the districts of Rachaya and West Bekaa to the public transport network by operating daily bus routes to both areas. Preparations are underway, buses have been allocated, and work is ongoing to finalize the trip schedules, with implementation expected soon.

Abou Faour thanked Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, Chaya, and their teams for addressing the transport needs of residents in Rachaya, West Bekaa, and across Lebanon.
