The eighth session of the Jordanian-Lebanese Joint Higher Committee will convene tomorrow afternoon on Wednesday, at the Grand Serail, under the joint chairmanship of of both Prime Ministers Nawaf Salam and Jaafar Hassan.
Jordan’s Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport at 3:00 pm tomorrow, where he will be received by Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. They will then proceed to the Grand Serail, where an official welcoming ceremony will be held in honor of the Jordanian guest.
Following a bilateral meeting between the two prime ministers, the joint Higher Committee will convene under the chairmanship of Prime Ministers Salam and Hassan, with the participation of members of the Lebanese and Jordanian delegations. The session will conclude with the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding.
Prime Ministers Salam and Hassan are scheduled to deliver a press statement at the end of the committee’s meetings.
