President of the Republic Joseph Aoun underscored the importance of Arab unity in addressing current challenges during a meeting with Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan. 

Aoun thanked Jordan, its King, government, and people, for their continued support to Lebanon across various sectors, particularly assistance to the Lebanese Army, and highlighted the significance of the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed yesterday at the Grand Serail.

For his part, Prime Minister Hassan affirmed that Jordan stands alongside Lebanon and is keen to strengthen bilateral cooperation, noting that the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding reflects the depth of ties between the two countries and their peoples.
