The following statement was issued by the Army Command – Guidance Directorate:
"Israeli attacks and violations against Lebanon continue, targeting buildings and civilian homes in several areas, most recently in southern villages, in a blatant breach of Lebanon’s sovereignty and security, as well as of the ceasefire agreement and UN Resolution 1701.
These condemnable attacks hinder the army’s efforts and obstruct the completion of its plan, leading to intimidation of civilians and causing casualties, in addition to the displacement of dozens of families who have lost their homes. They also negatively affect stability in the region."
