A motorcycle officer with the Zgharta Traffic Unit was nearly run over by a driver of a Rapid vehicle while officers were carrying out security operations in the area.
The suspect was immediately chased down and arrested by unit members. He was identified as “A.S.” and taken in for questioning ahead of the appropriate legal proceedings.
