Civil Defense and Red Cross teams were able late last night to recover a mother and her son from beneath the rubble of the collapsed building in Qobbeh, Tripoli.
Another woman from the same family remains trapped under the debris in a different section of the building. She is unconscious, but Red Cross teams have detected a heartbeat, and rescue efforts are continuing to reach her and bring her to safety.
