The Internal Security Forces (ISF) General Directorate – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
An unidentified individual riding a red motorcycle equipped with a rain shield (umbrella) struck a woman in the Tripoli Boulevard area, in front of KFC restaurant, and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and was discharged after receiving the necessary care.
Accordingly, and based on instructions from the competent judiciary, the ISF General Directorate is circulating the photo of the motorcycle rider and asks anyone who recognizes him or knows his whereabouts to contact the Tripoli Traffic Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit at 06-388186 or 06-380040, in preparation for taking the necessary legal action. Any citizen who provides information will have their identity kept confidential, in accordance with the law.
