Watch: Car smashes door of Jewish synagogue in New York
Police in New York City have launched an investigation after a car collided with a Jewish synagogue.

Authorities said the incident did not result in any injuries and occurred at a building housing the largest synagogue in Brooklyn, located on Eastern Parkway.

New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said officers were stationed inside the building when they heard a commotion at the main entrance. She added during a press conference that when responding, officers saw a car hit the building’s back door and then reverse to hit the same door a second time.
