The Council of Ministers convened its regular session at 3:00 pm at Baabda Palace, chaired by President of the Republic Joseph Aoun, and attended by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and ministers.

Prior to the session, President Aoun and Prime Minister Salam held a bilateral meeting to review current general situation in the country and the latest developments.

The cabinet is reviewing a forty-item agenda that includes agreements, draft laws, draft decrees, appointments, and employment matters, most notably a presentation by the Ministry of Environment outlining the reference framework for methodologies and mechanisms of intervention within the reconstruction process.

In addition, the Cabinet will address urgent matters requiring appropriate decisions.
